Martin G. Occhipinti, 84;  Martin G. Occhipinti, who had lived in Patterson the past two years, died last Tuesday at
Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.  He was 84 and had been in declining health for some time.  A native of San
Francisco, he was a retired member of the Marine Cooks and Stewards Union. He was a veteran of the US Army and Air
Force, in which he served during World War II. He also worked as a barber.  Duggin s Serra Mortuary in Daly City was
in charge of the final arrangements. Mass intentions and prayers were offered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Patterson. Survivors include his wife, Frances Occhipinti, son Larry Occhipinti and his wife Linda, three granddaughters
and four great-grandchildren, all of Patterson; son Martin Occhipinti Jr. and three grandsons, all of Daly City; and a
sister, Jennie Occhipinti of Burlingame.
