Manuel Cardova Ochoa, 76;  Final rites will be held here Wednesday for Newman resident Manuel Cardova Ochoa.  He
died last Friday at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. He was 76.  Born in Sparks, Nev., he had lived in Newman the
past 35 years and was a retired chef.  A vigil will be held today, Tuesday, at 7 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in
Patterson, with a Mass scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial in Patterson District
Cemetery will follow.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m .at the chapel.  Survivors include his sister in-law, Irene
Ochoa of Newman.
