Sylvia Lenore Ohlson, 79;  Funeral services will be held Friday for longtime Patterson resident Sylvia Lenore Ohlson.
She died Monday at her Patterson home following a long illness. She was 79.  A native of Sterling, Kansas, she was a
homemaker and had lived here 54 years. She attended Patterson Covenant Church and was a member of both the
Covenant Women's Group and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  The graveside service Friday at 10:30 am will be
held at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery near Santa Nella. It will be followed by a memorial service Friday at 1
p.m. at the Patterson Covenant Church.  Survivors include her husband, Herman Ohlson of Patterson; a son, Brooks
Ohlson of Granite Bay; a daughter, Janice Brooks of San Jose; three grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Hall of Sublette,
Kan.  Remembrances should be made to Hospice of Emanuel Medical Center, 825 Delbon Ave., Turlock, Calif. 95380; or
to the Covenant Church Memorial Fund, 435 W. Las Palmas Ave. Patterson
