Oliveira Antone A Sr 250820 p1 Pioneer Dairyman Passes Away; Antone A. Oliveira a pioneer dairyman of the Crows Landing district, passed away at his home in the south end of Patterson colony Friday night. Suffering a severe attack of influenza a year ago, the malady left him with an impaired heart action, which steadily grew worse ending in dilation of that organ. Mr. Oliveira, a native of the Azores, came to this country in his youth, and soon after coming to California engaging in dairying, first as a laborer and at last realizing his ambition of owning and operating his own dairy. During the influenza epidemic, he lost his wife and a year ago his eldest son passed away as a result of pneumonia. Both these deaths were an acute shock to him and hastened his own physical breakdown. He was greatly respected in the community, expressions of sorrow and sympathy being heard from everyone.
