Requiem Held for Mary E.  Oliveira; Requiem mass was celebrated Saturday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic
Church in  Crows Landing for Mary L.  Oliveira, 88, who died last Thursday in the San Luis Convalescent Hospital
following a long illness.  Interment was in Hills Ferry Cemetery, Newman. Mrs. Oliveira, a native of the Azores, had
lived in the Crows Landing area for 59 years.  She is survived by a son, Joe E. Oliveira of Newman; two daughters, Mrs.
Edwin Tyler of Crows Landing and Mrs. Everett Maloney of Santa Clara; two brothers, including John Cardoza of Tracy,
and several grandchildren. She was a member of SPRS1 of Patterson and the Lady of Miracles Society of Gustine.
