Final Rites Held For Antonio Oliveria; Requiem Mass was held last Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Antonio
Jose Oliveria, 75, who died last Wednesday in a local  hospital following a long illness  The rosary was recited Thursday
evening at the Davis-Hansen Funeral Chapel in Newman.  Burial was in Hills Ferry Cemetery. Oliveria was a native of
Pico, Azores Islands, and moved to the Crows Landing area in 1942.  He was a farmer. He was a member of the Crows
Landing UPEC, the SES of Crows Landing, and the Crows Landing Pentecost. He is survived by his wife,  Mary of
Crows Landing; two sons, Edwin of Crows Landing and Clarence of Stockton;  one daughter, Mrs. Hazel M. Silva of
Crows Landing; and seven grandchildren.
