Lorene Linda Ollar, 70;  A graveside service was held Monday morning for longtime Patterson resident Lorene Linda
Ollar.  She died last Wednesday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.  She was 70.  A native of Heavener, Okla., she
moved to the Crows Landing area in 1947 and to rural Patterson about four years later.  She and her husband John "Jack"
Ollar moved several times, with some of their children born in Heavener and others here on the West Side.  He was a
foreman for farmer Manuel Silva and preceded her in death in 1994.  She was a homemaker and a member of the
Assembly of God Church in Patterson.  She also did volunteer work distributing commodities for the brown bag program,
as well as the meal program for seniors.  Burial was in Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson.   Visitation was Sunday
evening at Hillview Funeral Chapel.  Survivors include two sons, William and Mike Ollar, and four daughters, Fern
Madnick, Judy Rowes, Pat Fields, and Carolyn Hignite, all of' Patterson; as well as eight grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.  Remembrances should be sent to the Assembly of God Church, 18 S. Sixth St., Patterson.
