Funeral Mon Day for John B. Olson:  A Monday afternoon funeral service is planned for John Bertram Olson, 70, who
died Saturday at the Del Puerto Hospital following a long illness.  The memorial service will beheld at 2 p.m. Monday at
the Evans Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Patterson District Cemetery. Rev. Lawrence Sailer will officiate.  A native of
Fosston, Minn., he moved from that community to Patterson in 1935. He had been a heavy equipment operator the past
45 years.  He was a member of Our Saviour s Lutheran Church here, and was a veteran of World War II.  He was a life
member of the Patterson American Legion post.  The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the church.
Survivors include two stepsons, Charles Minghetti of San Luis Obispo and Robert Minghetti of San Jose; two
grandchildren; three sisters, Vivian Wheeland of Patterson, Teresa Brown of  Sunnyvale; and Helen Hove of Modesto,
one brother, Lilmer Olson of Paradise, Calif.
