Funeral Services For Eight Month Old Boy; Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Our Saviour's Lutheran
Church for Mark Evan Olson, eight month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Olson. Officiating at services were Pastor
Walter Holtan of the local church and Rev Gulhagen, Mrs. Olson s pastor  in Sacramento, where she formerly lived.
Mark Evan was born in Denver, Colorado, November 26; 1957 and would have been nine months old Tuesday of this
week.  He was three months old before his parents discovered he had a heart condition, a hole in the heart, which kept the
blood from circulating properly through his body. He was under the care of a heart specialist in Denver until the Olson s
moved here, when a heart specialist from San Francisco took over. The baby s parents took him to Denver for surgery
and the operation was termed a success, but the baby died from unknown complications.  An autopsy is being performed
to determine the cause of death. With the baby in Denver were, his parents, his father s father, Marion Olson, and his
mother's mother, Mrs. Roy Osterli. Interment was at Del Puerto Cemetery.
