Service Held for Loy C. Orr, 72; A funeral service was held Monday morning at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson for
Loy C. Orr, 72, who died last Thursday in a Modesto hospital following a long illness.  A retired farmer, he had lived in
this area the past 36 years after moving here from Oxnard. He was employed for 46 years by Maring Farms, and was a
native of Missouri. He was a member of the Grayson Assembly of God Church.  The Rev. Richard Kelly officiated the
service. Burial followed in Patterson District Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Rosie Orr of Patterson; two
daughters, Doris Orr of Modesto and Patricia Lambert of Oxnard; a sister and a brother, Bernice Orr and John Orr, both
of Buena Park; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
