Isabelle Bravo Ortega, 77
A Newman woman who was the mother of a Pattersonite died last Friday at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Isabelle Bravo Ortega, a native of San Fernando, was 77.  The homemaker had lived in Newman the past 33 years and was
a member of St. Joachim s Catholic Church.
A vigil will be held here Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Newman, with a Mass scheduled for Thursday
at 10 a.m. at St.  Joachim  s Church, Newman.
Burial in Hills Ferry Cemetery will follow the service. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Newman chapel.
Survivors include a son, Adam Ortega Jr. of Modesto; two daughters, Dolores Gault of Patterson and Rosa Reed of
Newman; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Bravo of Livingston; and two sisters; Martha
Perez of Merced and Irene Pacheco of Newman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Ortega, who died in late 2000.
