Lucia Ortiz Ortega, 77;  A 23-year Patterson resident died last Friday at Del Puerto Hospital  Lucia Ortiz Ortega, a native
of Mexico, died at age 77.  She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  A rosary was recited
Monday evening at the church, where a Mass will be celebrated today, Tuesday, at 10 a.m.  Burial in Mexico is planned
for Thursday.  Survivors include six sons, Leonides Ortega of Westley, and Miguel, Vicente, Alberto, Mariano, and Jose
Ortega, all of Patterson; five daughters, Teresa Ortega of Mexico, Sara Estrella, Ana Maria Arreola, and Maria Da Los
Angeles Palafox, all of Patterson, and Graciela Figueroa of Grimms; 35 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a
brother, Jose Ortiz of Los Angeles; and a sister, Maria Ortiz of Mexico.
