Harold E. Oversen, 67;  Final rites were held recently in Lemoore for Harold E. Oversen of that city who died June 11 in
a Hanford hospital.  He was 67.  He was an ordnanceman in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, retiring in 1971 after duty in the
South China Sea conflict.  The Albany native then became a civil service employee at the Lemoore Naval Air Station
commissary.  He was an at large member of Fleet Reserve Association No. 261 and was an avid golfer.  Burial was in the
Lemoore Cemetery.  Survivors include his wife, Claudine Rauscher Oversen of Lemoore; children, Norman of Turlock,
Edmund and Kevin of Carson City, Nev., and Harold "Shorty" Oversen Jr. of Lemoore; four grandchildren and one great-
grandchild; and an aunt and uncle, Mary Silva and Roland Lopes, both of Patterson.  Remembrances should be sent to St.
Peter's Catholic Church, Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 100, Lemoore Calif. 93245.
