Walter Allen Vaile, 84;  A graveside service was held Monday morning at Patterson District Cemetery for Walter
Allen Vaile.  He died last Wednesday, June 26, at his Patterson home.  He was 84.  A retired carpenter, he was a
member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Jointers of America.  He also was a member of Masonic
Lodge No. 218 of Livermore.  A native of Atoka, Okla., he had lived in Patterson the past six years.  Survivors
include a son, Walter Vaile of Paris, Ark.; two daughters, Audry G. Patterson of Patterson and Mildred J. Moran
of Stockton; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Odell Vaile of Idaho; and a sister, Opal
Caudill of Riverside.  Hillview Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
