Harold E. Valentine   June 3, 1929 -- March 13,2004
A memorial service will be observed Sunday for former Patterson resident Harold E. "Val" Valentine, 74, who died
March 13 in Los Banos. A native of Ainsworth, Neb., Mr. Valentine also lived in Manteca and Patterson before moving
to Los Banos, where he met his wife.  He worked in copper mines in Hoopa and later worked as a truck driver.  He was a
member of Teamsters Union Local 439 and the Elks Lodge.  He is survived by his wife, Theresa Valentine of Los Banos;
sons Edwin Lynn Valentine and Harold Edwin Valentine Jr., both of Manteca; daughter Jewel Ann Jabs of Manteca;
stepchildren John Ciuffo and Madonna Ciuffo of Los Banos; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Sunday s service will begin at 2 p.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, 16524 Center Ave. in Los Banos.
