Former Patterson resident dies in Seattle; A private memorial service was held Monday in Seattle, Wash., for former
Pattersonite Sharon Bowers Van Erp. She died last Friday in Seattle at age 40.  She had had a history of heart problems.
The Patterson native, a homemaker in Seattle, had moved to that city in the early 1960s. Survivors include her husband,
Bill Van Erp, Jr. of Seattle; a son, Bill Van Erp, III of Seattle; one grandson, Clayton Van Erp of Seattle; four sisters,
Barbara Thorkelson of Modesto, Lois Farinha and Jane Benson of Patterson, and Margie Johnson of Twain Harte; a
brother, Stanley Bowers of Patterson; and an aunt, Stella Anderson of Patterson. The family prefers that remembrances
be sent to Chief 600, c/o Country Club Fire Station, Camano Island, Wash., 98292.
