Santos Vasquez, 81;  Santos Vasquez, a 40 year resident of Patterson, died Friday at Scenic Circle Convalescent Hospital
in Modesto.  She was 81.  A native of Sonora, Mexico. she was retired after being employed as a teacher s aide by the
Patterson Unified School District. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  A vigil will be held tonight,
Tuesday, at 7 o clock at Hillview Funeral Chapel. with a Mass scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart
Church. Burial in Patterson District Cemetery will follow.  Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m. at the chapel.
Survivors include two sons, Severo and David Cordova, both of Patterson; a daughter, Rachel Tones of Patterson; 10
grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Donato Lopez of Patterson and Ynez, Jesus and Silvino Lopez.
all of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a sister, Pat Morales of Phoenix.  Remembrances should be sent to Hospice of Modesto, 601
McHenry Ave., Suite C.. Modesto, Calif. 95350.
