Services held in Gustine for Clarence Vierra; A Rosary was said last Friday evening in the Evans-Krieger Funeral Chapel
in Gustine for Clarence M. Vierra, 70. of Stevinson, who died Tuesday, Jan. 2,  in a Turlock Hospital after a lengthy
illness. Vierra, native of Santa Clara, was active in various civic activities in the communities of Newman and Stevinson.
A resident of the Stevinson area for the past 43 years, he had served on the Stevinson Water District and the Sunnyside
Cemetery District Board of Directors. He was active in the Orestimba Fifty Plus Club, the Newman Moose Lodge, S.E.S.
and Y.MJ of Stevinson and was a director of the Stevinson Pentecost Association. Vierra was an honorary member of the
Stevinson Fire Department. A retired dairyman, he is survived by his wife Mina Vierra; his mother Helen Leon; nine sons
