Passing of A. J. Vierria Saturday; Antonio J. Vierria passed away early Saturday morning at his home on the county road
at the south end of the Colony. A native of Flores, Azores Islands, the deceased was 58 years of age.  He is survived by
his wife, Laura,  one brother, Joe A. Vierria of Ceres, and two sisters residing in the Azores. Rosary services were held at
the Evans Funera1 Chapel Monday evening followed by funeral rites at Sacred Heart Church Tuesday morning, with
Rev. Lester I. Ehrmann officiating.  Interment followed in St. Mary s Cemetery. The deceased was a member of the U. P.
E. C. and I. D. E. S. Lodges of Crows Landing.
