George Vincent Services Held; Last Rites were held December 15 in the Notion Mortuary. Turlock, for George P.
Vincent, 82, who died December 12 following a short illness. The Rev. Primus Bennett, pastor of the First Christian
Church of Turlock, officiated, Interment was in Lakewood Memorial Park. Born in Holton, Kansas, Mr. Vircent lived in
Fullerton, Los Angeles County, before moving to Patterson in 1918. He lived here until 1947 at which time he purchased
and moved to a ranch on Monte Vista Road in Turlock. In 1951 he returned to Kansas living there until 1959 when he
then returned to Turlock. He is survived by his wife, Nora Vincent, Turlock; two sons, J. K (Vince) Vincent, Turlock,
and Lee Vincent of Winnetka, Illinois; a daughter, Betty Brush of Modesto; three brothers, John Vincent, San Diego;
Forest and Cornelius Vincent, both of Holton, Kansas; a sister, Hazel Myers, Georgia, and six grandchildren.
