Emma C van Moos, 91;  Final rites have been scheduled here for longtime Patterson resident Emma Caroline von Moos.
She died Saturday at Hyland Convalescent Hospital in Modesto. She was 91.  A native of Lugern, Switzerland, she had
lived here 49 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the San Joaquin Valley
Swiss Club.  A rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. A Mass will be
celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, with burial in Patterson Cemetery to follow.  Visitation is
scheduled for 4 p.m. until the rosary at the chapel.  Survivors sons. Joe and van Moos, both of Patterson; daughters, Rosie
Cardoza of Modesto and Mary Schleiss of Gustine; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter of
Switzerland; and two sisters, Kathy Peter Hans and Marie Gasser, also of Switzerland.
