The John Chew Chapter was organized on 11 June
1958, by founding members. Mrs. Dorothy Chew Mason was the chapter's
first Regent. The chapter was named for the ancestor of the
Organizing Regent, John Chew, who was a Virginia Burgess. Most
members are from the local area; however, some members are from
other areas, as well. Local residency is not a requirement for
membership in any chapter. We invite you to discover more about our chapter, as well as the National Society and the Texas Society, by following the links we have provided. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming meetings!
