Activities For the KCGS monthly meeting schedule and topics, please click on the "MEETINGS" button. The Society typically sponsors bus trips to the Los Angeles area for genealogy research. Destinations have included the Los Angeles Public Library, the libraries of the Southern California Genealogical Society, the LDS Family History Center in Los Angeles on Santa Monica Blvd, the Sons of the American Revolution and the Immigration Genealogical Society Library. In addition, the Society sponsors workshops and training sessions and celebration events. Upcoming events for 2013:======================================================================================= May 21 -- FamilySearch.org -- Abraham Rodriquez, genealogy researcher, will share tips and tricks of navigating the new features of familysearch.org.
