Books and
CD-ROM's
The genealogy collection of the
Beale Memorial Library
is housed in the Genealogy Room, which is on the second floor
overlooking Truxtun Avenue. The collection, which includes
hundreds of book volumes on all 50 states and many on other countries,
can
be searched on-line at the Beale Memorial Library's website (www.kerncountylibrary.org). The
KCGS is
continually donating books to the collection. If you know of any books
that would be a useful addition to our collection, please email the
book titles and the author's names to KCGS (kerngen@aol.com)
or mail to: Kern County Genealogical Society, P.O.
Box 2214, Bakersfield, CA 93303-2214.
