The holdings of this library include American resources as well as information for those researching German ancestry. They have over 225 town lineage books (Ortssippenbucher), Surname Books, gazetteers, European and American Telephone books, German and European Immigrant Passenger Arrival lists, the Mecklenburg Emigrants Database and much more.

Trained volunteers will search for names in specific books for a small fee. Send a SASE (Self addressed stamped envelope) to the library for a list of books they will search, the amount of the fees, and the forms to submit for the searches.

The holdings in this library include over 10,000 books with information pertaining to the American Revolution, the founding of the United States and state and local histories. It also has over 1700 family histories. There are Lineage Books, indexes and much more. There is a small donation to use the library

The Library has over 30,000 books as well as the largest collection of genealogical periodicals on the West Coast. There are thousands of manuscripts held there also. The library volunteers will do standard searches for names in their Revolutionary War holdings for a small fee.
