Leonis Adobe 23537 Calabasas Road Calabasas, CA 91364 Built about 1844, this was the home of Miguel Leonis, a Basque rancher. He gained the large Escorpion Rancho through marriage and aquired much other land in various ways. His holdings were so vast that he was known as the "King of Calabasas". |

Lopez Adobe 1100 Pico Street San Fernando CA 91340 This was the second home (built around 1882) of Catalina and Geronimo Lopez, important citizens of San Fernando who had operated the first post office, general store and English Speaking school. The walls are 24 inches thick and there are ten rooms. |
