Death of Mr. B. F. Congdon.

Benjamin F. Congdon, aged seventy-three years, died this morning at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Ellery C. Fisher, in West Bridgewater.

The deceased leaves besides the daughter, four other children – Mrs. B. G. Bishop, of Nova Scotia; Jeanne and Fred, both of West Bridgewater, and Herbert of Meriden, Conn.

The above is from the Brockton, (Mass.,) Enterprise of Nov. 4th. The issue of the same paper for Nov. 8th, contains the following:

The funeral of Benjamin F. Congdon was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ellery C. Fisher. The services were conducted by Rev. Wesley L. Smith, pastor of the Baptist church. Mrs. Alice Wade Laird sang sweetly, "Lead, Kindly Light," "Some Sweet Day By and By" and "The Christian’s Good Night." The interment was at Coweeset cemetery, Marshall’s corner, Brockton.
