Hunter Fatally Shot At Night

Middleton, Oct. 24 - William Crouse, of Torbrook, died in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, here at 5.30, this (Wednesday) morning, from the effects of a rifle wound inflicted in a hunting accident, south of Wilmot, four hours previously.

Circumstances of the shooting have not been revealed, but Coroner Dr. G. R. Mahaney and a jury viewed the remains, this morning, and the inquest was adjourned to next Wednesday, October 31,

Crouse’s hunting companions were Harry Ricker and Murray Pineo, both of Wilmot.
