Narrative on Voluntary Assistance

Please note that access to this site has always been free and will continue to be free. We are firm believers
in keeping Genealogy free except in exceptional circumstances where large sites like "ANCESTRY.COM" sell
access to absolutely huge databases. These databases could save a researcher of U.S., U.K. and Canadian vital
statistics, a lifetime of searching libraries and other archives.

Visitors have volunteered to photograph gravemarkers in their town and send in the photos, which
is very thoughtful and genuinely appreciated. Some other folks have expressed an interest in "pitching in"
to help defray some of the costs. Their financial assistance, or gas cards to offset rising travelling expenses
to reach unphotographed cemeteries, is very kind, extremely helpful and much appreciated.
Unfortunately, the number of donations has been dwindling for the last few years. The lack of donations means that we will have to cut down on our trips to unphotographed cemeteries.
