Query: What was Martha’s maiden name? Who were her parents? When and where was she born? When and where did she die? Martha married William McDonald around 1846. William was born in c.1793 at Harrigan Cove, the son of Mary Robichaud and Alexander McDonald, formerly of Shelburne County, NS.
It appears that the family lived between East Quoddy and Ecum Secum (Bay of Islands, including Harrigan Cove) in the 1838 Census: Recorded is Martha and William McDannel. In the household were five children, aged 0 years to 14.
