Write to a Canadian Soldier in AfghanistanThe Olive Tree Genealogy has a webpage hosted here where anyone who wishes to can write a note to our soldiers in the PPCLI (Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry) in Afghanistan. Take a minute to say hello, send a thumb's up, or just tell them how proud we are of their efforts. Let them know we haven't forgotten them! The Canadian Military Heritage Project

Mrs. H. G. Gorham is in receipt of a letter from her son Ambrose, who is now Signaller with No. 1 Company of the 12th Batt, located at St Martin Plain, Shorncliffe, in which he wishes to thank the Soldiers Aid Society of Rainy River, for the box of good things he received through them, also Mrs. Flanders tobacco which he pased around as requested. Needless to say we appreciated both packages very much and after a good feed we certainly enjoyed a smoke of good old Canadian tobacco. Note from Brian:
