The following list of settlers were people brought in through the port of Saint John, but as the fifth column shows, they did not necessarily remain in that area.  The term County refers to Saint John County, St. John refers to the city.  Loch Lomond is in that County, and St. Andrews is in Charlotte County.

Memorandum that James Taylor of Fredericton in the Province of New Brunswick, Merchant, hereby contracts and agrees to and with John Robinson, Charles J. Peters and Ward Chipman, Junior, Esquires, Commissioners for expending the price of one thousand pounds granted at the last Session of the General Assembly of the Said Province for the introduction of Settlers into the Said Province in manner following, that is to say, that he the Said James Taylor in consideration of the Said Sum of one thousand pounds to be paid to him as herein after mentioned, will introduce and bring into the Said Province, as Settlers, from [AyreShire] in Scotland one hundred and thirty four persons all of whom Shall be under the age of forty years, one hundred of them Shall be Adults above the age of Sixteen years, and of the Adults Sixty Seven Shall be Males - No infants under the age of two years to be accounted for, and children from two years to ten years of age to be accounted for every two as one person.  All the persons so to be brought Shall have a Certificate of good character from the Minister of the Parish where they may have resided, Shall be in a good State of health and without any bodily infirmity, and shall be landed at Saint John on or before the first day of December --- next ensuing, the date hereof --- the Said Sum of one thousand pounds to be paid to the said James Taylor on Such landing of the Said Settlers to the number and of the descriptions herein before maintained at Saint John as aforesaid:  In Witness Whereof the Said James Taylor hath hereunto Subscribed his name the fifteenth day of June in the year of our Lord 1816.  In the presence of Wm. Whitney.
