In re
Johanna Lannigan deceased.
This is the last Will and Testament of me Johanna Lannigan of St. John's,
Newfoundland, Widow. I hereby revoke all former Wills and testamentary
dispositions by me at any time made. I nominate and appoint the Rev.
D.J. O'Callaghan, Roman Catholic Priest of St. John's aforesaid to be the
sole executor of this my last will and testament. To the said executor
I bequeath everything of every description of which I shall die possessed
upon the conditions and trusts hereinafter set forth that is to say.
First. I desire that all my just debts and testamentary and funeral
expenses be paid.
Secondly. I bequeath absolutely to my daughter Anastatia Hurley,
Spinster everything of which I shall die possessed that is to say, the
land and house thereon situate on Duckworth Street and known as "Admiral
House" held in fee simple with the furniture and all other things therein
and all other effects of whatsoever kind left by me at my death.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand by making my mark this
5th day of May 1913.
Johanna her X mark Lannigan. Signed by Johanna Lannigan with
her mark as her last will the same having been read over and explained
to the said Johanna Lannigan in the presence of us present at the same
time who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each
other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
