Will of Edward J. Hartery|
In re: EDWARD JOSEPH HARTERY DECEASED.
This is the last will and testament of me Edward Joseph Hartery of Cape Broyle
in the Electoral District of Ferryland Fisherman.
1. After payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give
devise and bequeath all the property of which I may die possessed and of every
description whatsoever unto my beloved wife Clara Mary Hartery for her lifetime
and to be devoted by her to her support and maintenance.
2. Upon the death of my said wife I give devise and bequeath all my said
property as follows:
[A] To my cousin John Hartery of Cape Broyle all that plot of land situate at
Cape Broyle aforesaid and bounded as follows: on the North by the Local Road, on
the East and South by the main line and on the West by Edward Hartery's land
[B] To my cousin Frank Hartery that piece of land situate at Cape Broyle
aforesaid bounded on the South by the main line on the West by a side path, and on
the East and North by other land of mine, the said land being that piece of land
bequeathed by the late John Hartery to his daughter Mary Murphy.
[C] To my brother Michael Hartery of Cape Broyle aforesaid all the rest and
residue of my property of every description whatsoever to be held by him
3. I appoint my said brother Hartery sole executor of this my last will and

Signed Published and Declared by the said Testator as and for his last will and
testament in our presence who in his presence, at his request and in the
presence of each other have hereunto signed our names as witnesses.
