IN RE: JOHN JOSEPH GRANGEL. DECEASED
And Second upon the condition that should my son Daniel, who is now absent from the Colony, return to Newfoundland, and should he desire it, he (the said Patrick) shall convey to him one quarter of an acre of the land hereby devised, situate on Topsail Road. I hereby nominate and appoint the said Patrick Grangel as sole Executor of this my said Will. In witness whereof I the said John Joseph Grangel have hereunto my hand subscribed and set at St. John's aforesaid this 25th day of August Anno Domini One thousand nine hundred and five. JOHN JOSEPH his X mark GRANGEL Signed by the said John Joseph Grangel as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, both present at the same time, who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. (Having first been read over and explained to the said Testator who appeared to thoroughly understand the same)
