Nicholas James Collier was an older brother of my maternal great grandfather Samuel George Carnell Collier. They were both sons of Charles Frederick
Collier and Sarah Ann Carnell.

Nicholas refers to his wife Ellen Louise. She was Ellen Louisa Pack, daughter of William and Eliza Pack. Eric Harold Collier, son of Nicholas and
Ellen, survived the sinking of the Florizel in 1918. He was third engineer.
