Abraham Parsons deceased.
I Abraham Parsons of Harbor Grace in the Island of Newfoundland Planter being infirm of body but of a sound mind and memory do this twentieth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say First I will and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be fully paid and discharged Also I do hereby give and bequeath unto my daughter Amelia Bradbury wife of John Bradbury and unto my grandson John Archer that part of my plantation from the old chimney to Charles Weboer's fence Also I do hereby and bequeath unto my son Henry Parsons that part of my plantation from the said old chimney to the bounds of Coxes Room Also I do hereby give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Archer for and during her natural life part of my dwelling house and part of the cabbage garden [the eastern part] and the eastern part of the garden behind the dwelling house Also I do hereby give and bequeath unto my son William Parsons all that part of a spot of ground say from the eastern part of Cox's fence as far to the eastward as I drove in stakes It is to be understood that after the decease of my daughter Sarah Archer the before mentioned bequest shall descend to her son John Archer his heirs executors administrators and assigns Also I do hereby give and bequeath unto my sons William and Henry all that my Fishing Stage to them their heirs executors administrators and assigns The Eastern part to William and the Western part to Henry Also I do hereby give and bequeath unto my grandson William Warford all that spot of ground say from William Parsons staked bounds as far as my land marks extends to the Eastward his heirs executors administrators and assigns All my household furniture with the bed bedding and all other my effects I do hereby give and bequeath unto my son Henry Parsons whom I do appoint whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year before written. Abraham Parsons [LS] signed sealed published and declared by the testator Abraham Parsons as and for his last will and testament in presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses, John Warford. Wm. Lampen. This Codicil to this my last will and I request may be taken as part of the same Whereas I have in and by my last will and testament given and bequeathed unto my daughter Sarah Archer part of my dwelling and part of my plantation as is described in my said will for and during her life and after her death to my grandson John Archer I do hereby now give and bequeath the said part of my dwelling house and part of the said plantation therein described after her death unto my said son Henry Parsons his heirs executors and administrators.
