In re: MARY ANN CAREW. DECEASED
This is the last will and testament of me Mary Ann Carew of Broad Cove in Conception Bay at present an inmate in the Lunatic Asylum widow. I give devise and bequeath to my youngest son, Laurence Carew, all my personal property and effects consisting of land, dwelling house with all its contents, stable, store and cellar; also the live stock at present in the premises I appoint Daniel Curtin Executor of this my will. Dated at St. John’s this twelfth day of April A.D. 1893 Mary Ann her X mark Carew. Signed Published and Declared by the said testatrix as and for her last will and testament in our presence and in the presence of each other all present at the same time having first been read and explained Daniel Curtin J Sinclair Tait
