NL GenWeb Headstone InscriptionsConception Bay North ~ Northern DistrictWestern Bay - Old Methodist Cemetery (Partial)This cemetery is located in Western Bay, near Bradley's Cove. It is the old Western Bay Methodist Cemetery containing people from Bradley's Cove, Western Bay South and Western Bay North. It may be misunderstood as a Bradley's Cove cemetery since the Bradley's Cove sign on the main Highway in Western Bay give the impression that once you leave the highway you're in Bradly's Cove when really you have to go about 2 km (and past this cemetery) before actually entering the now uninhabited community of what was once Bradley's Cove. Chris JenkinsNote: Partial transcription of cemetery, several very old stones were difficult to decipher. Headstone inscriptions were collected and compiled by SUSAN SNELGROVE, August 2001. While I have endeavored to be as correct as humanly possible, there could be some typographical errors. |
