| Spotted
Island is located on the southeast Labrador coast near the community of
Black Tickle and about 60 miles south of Cartwright. Another community
that was once a thriving fishing settlement, both for Labrador and
Newfoundland fiserfolk. Today, Spoted Island is uninhabited, except some
local people who maintain summer cabins there. |
