In re: DAVID PAYNE. DECEASED

I David Payne of Fogo, being of sound mind and memory, do make & declare this to be my last will and Testament:-
First I give and bequeath to my son Ambrose all my property as land, houses, fishing stage, & flakes, situated at Eastern Tickle.
Second I give and bequeath to my wife all my property situated in Fogo Harbor, with all money, and everything else I am owner of at my death, except what is otherwise mentioned, to do with as she may wish.
Third. I also give and bequeath to my wife, all my share that is half- of the fishing gear, as traps, nets, boats and all other things used for fishing; the remaining half I leave to my son Ambrose, and lastly I constitute & appoint my wife Mary Ann Payne to be the sole executrix of this my last will and testament and do hereby revoke and annull all other wills ever made by me David his X mark Payne
Signed and declared in the presence of us, who at his request have signed as witnesses, this twenty-seventh day of November in the year one thousand nine hundred & five William Elliott William Oake witnesses
