Brock District was established in 1837 from London District, and was abolished in 1849.
It consisted of the county of Oxford and parts of what would later become Brant County.
"The Brock District is settled principally by emigrants from Great Britain and Ireland, many of them English. Population of the Brock District in 1842, 16,271." 4
Brock District was located in South-Western Ontario.
