Upper Canada

Upper Canada
Upper Canada was established in 1791 when the Colony of Quebec was divided into the provinces of Upper Canada and Lower Canada.

Upper Canada was the land lying west of the Ottawa River, Lower Canada was the land lying to the east of the Ottawa River.

In 1841 Upper Canada became Canada West
