Requirements:
- Writing ability (and a spell checker!)
- Knowledge of the material being covered (or the willingness to research the topic)
One of OntarioGenWeb's main functions is to provide information on how-to research your family in Ontario.
Writers are needed to write articles or instructions on how-to research various genealogy topics in Ontario.
Our Research By Year section is in need of writers who have knowledge of genealogical or historically significant events that occurred each decade from 1790 to present day. Writers are still needed for the following decades: And, there are still many topics that need attention:
- Movement West With the Railway - what was the attraction? What genealogical records are available?
- Home Children
- Native Heritage
Please see Research By Topic for a listing of current articles. If there's a topic you feel should be covered that isn't consider volunteering to write about it.
