Once you find a name in the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid, we would be happy to assist you by sending you the full reference. We will send you a photocopy of the page of the cemetery transcription, at a cost of $3.00 CAN per page. Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope, or if you live outside Canada, a self-addressed envelope with two International Reply Coupons. Please, no US stamps!If you find several names in the same cemetery, please consider purchasing a transcription. In some cases you may end up spending less money by purchasing the transcription. Research Requests and Other Lookup Requests
- We charge $5.00 per obituary or other newspaper event if date is known.
- Census research is $6.00 for a complete family record of an available Indexed census.
- We will do a 5 year Vital Statistics Index search for $5.00 per event. In other words, if you believe that a birth took place in 1895, we will check 1893-1897. The fee is per event; in other words, a birth, marriage and death for the same person counts as three searches.
- We will search Ontario Land Records Index for $3.00 per family.
- We will check the 1863 Directory (It gives the Township, Lot & Concession) for FREE!
- We will check the 1879 Historical Atlas for $3.00
- We will check 1871 census and give you the full record for $3.00 per family.
- Detailed research is $10.00 per hour, and in most cases, is the most productive and least expensive way to research the Archive and Branch holdings. Our experienced staff are most proficient and very familiar with all available materials!
US residents please remit in US funds; exchange is used to cover postage.
There is a $1.00 discount on these services for Perth Branch members. Please include membership number when writing.
