Volunteers Wanted!
The branch is currently working on several projects and has many opportunities for volunteers.
Census Indexes are underway. You do not need to live in Stratford to help with this; you do need access to a Perth County census record on microfilm. These can be obtained by Inter-Library Loan; check with your local library. We are indexing head-of-household and their wives, as well as strays. Each index, once it is finished, needs to be double-checked and then typed up for publication by the branch.
Some Cemetery Transcriptions are being updated. As well as people to visit the cemetery (more of a summer project), this also requires typists.
