The
Quinte Searchlight
From 1980-2000, the Branch published its newsletter
The Searchlight; from 2000-2005, the newsletter was published
jointly in the Quinte-Kin. In 2006, the Branch returned to independent
publishing with the launch of The New Searchlight, renamed The
Quinte Searchlight in 2010, which is issued
four times a year in March, June, September and December and is jam-packed
with articles of interest to all genealogists.
Articles and queries are most welcome and can be
mailed or emailed to: Quinte Branch OGS, c/o Editor. Contact
us.
In addition to ongoing branch news that includes:
Reports from the Chair and Regional Director, Upcoming Events, Committee Reports, Queries,
Additions to the Library, Indexing News, Book Reviews, New Publications
for Sale and Members' Surnames
Interests, the newsletter contains many
feature articles submitted by members from near and far.
