in June, and donated a copy of her book "From Tipperary to
Tyendinaga" to the branch library.
- The Branch participated
in the 225th Anniversary of the Loyalist
Landing at Adolphustown on June 13th.
- Meetings & Events
updated with the Toronto
Branch OGS Irish Ancestry Workshop and the Stirling-Rawdon
Genealogy Fair 2009 in August.
- Upcoming Branch
Meetings include Sean Smith from the Archives of Ontario in September;
John Reid will present Researching
British Immigrants to Canada in October, and Bill Hunt will discuss

Runners, Gamblers, and Flyers: A Look Back at Quinte's Fascinating
Past in November. In 2010 Randy Saylor will speak on "The
Migrations of our Pioneer Ancestors: Understanding Their Life and
Times" at the Crouse-Wanamaker lecture in January and Doug Knutson will present his recently expanded
and completed film documentary "Damned Rascal", the story
of soldier, loyalist, spy, adventurer Capt. John Walden Meyers. in
