School Yearbooks:
Contact the SGS Library, Local Public Library, or the appropriate regionalSaskatchewan School or School Division (R.C.S.S.D and Public) library to see if they have copies of past editions of school yearbooks. Use the ages to approximate date of school enrollment, and also pay attention to familial oral history to see if they would also be mentioned in club or team photos in the yearbook. The yearbook may also indicate a choice of college or future plans. Both the University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina have archival records which include: private papers of faculty, staff,
students, alumni, and University-related organizations and societies. Early school missions approximately of the time frame before Saskatchewan became a province in 1905.
Henderson's Directories:
Henderson's directories are listings of businesses and also households, listing family members over the age of 18, their residence and occupation during the year the directory was published. There were Henderson's Directories starting in 1885. Many of these are located at Libraries and archives. Try to match up information with oral history of familial occupations, interests. If you live out of area you can contact the SGS or find sks (some kind soul) on a Mailing List or Look up Volunteer, who can help you with this search if you live out of the area.
