| These historical images and photos of Mortlach, Moose Jaw and Melfort, Saskatchewan were submitted by Linda Bailey-Lisac, in her quest to discover more about her grandfather's nationality and to look up her grandfather's horse brand from 6/11/1913. She has found the Extract From Records of Brands for her Grandfather, and submitted these images which comprise this web site. Her Grandpa is Warren William Bailey who was married to Malinda Miethke.[pronounced; Med,key] Linda Bailey-Lisac's great grandma is Jeannette Marie Bailey. Warren William Bailey's brother George Bailey played on the Hockey Team in Mortlach in 1913, served in the Navy and was a barber. Linda relates that in the photo of Main Street Mortlach, Sask that the word "Restaurant" means a place travelers could rest and get "soup". |
